YOUR FIRST PRAYER MEETING IN THE NEW YEAR
Psalm 24:7-10
For the first day of the year.
To start every new year with the Lord in prayer is a wise step into victory and breakthroughs, not only through the new year but to eternity.
Job 36:11: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure.”
The birth of a new child, the dawn of a new day, the start of a new year, all bring feelings of excitement, joy, hope and promise. There is an air of great expectations when we put
God first at the beginning of everything we do. We can be rest assured that the end will be good, He is the Alpha and the Omega (Revelations 1:5).
How do we put God first? (i) By praying to Him to know His will. Once we know His will then we can obey Him. If He has given an instruction that we haven’t followed, He won’t say anything else till we go back and obey His instruction. (ii) By committing our ways, our plans and desires into His hands. When we desire to serve Him, He will work in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Phillipians 2:13). Our will will become bound to His will. When we do these two things the Bible says we will spend our days in prosperity and our years in pleasure.
As we start the new year, make sure you put God first, make God number one. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

PRAISE WORSHIP
Thank the Lord for His goodness and wonderful works in your life.
O Lord, perfect all good things concerning me this year.
Let God be God in my life this year, in the name of Jesus.
Let God arise and disgrace every power challenging God, in the name of Jesus.
Let all my disappointments become divine appointments, in the name of Jesus.
Let all satanic winds and storms be silenced, in the name of Jesus.
You God of new beginnings, begin a new dimension of wonders in my life this year, in the name of Jesus.
Let that which hinders me from greatness be smashed to pieces, in the name of Jesus.
Let every anti-breakthrough altar fashioned against me be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
Let the anointing for spiritual breakthroughs fail upon me, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, let me be at the right place at the right time.
You God of new beginnings, open fresh doors of prosperity to me, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, give me anointed ideas and lead me to new paths of blessings, in the name of Jesus.
Let all my wasted years and efforts be converted to multiple blessings, in the name of Jesus.
My finances will not enter into the clutches of financial hunger this year, in the name of Jesus.
I reject every spirit of financial embarrassment, in Jesus’ name.
O Lord, bring honey out of the rock for me and let me find the way where men say there is no way.
I withdraw all the evil words I have spoken against my life, home, work, etc., from satanic records, in the name
of Jesus.
This year, I will not turn back at the edge of my miracles, in the name of Jesus.
Let every architect of hatred, hostility and conflict in the home be paralysed, in the name of Jesus.
I command every satanic limitation to my health and finances to be removed, in the name of Jesus.
Let all inherited limitations to obtaining good things depart, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, arise and disgrace every power challenging my God.
At the name of Jesus, let every knee of satanic embarrassment bow.
I refuse to eat the bread of sorrow this year, in Jesus’ name.
I cast all problem-serpents and scorpions into the fire of judgement, in the name of Jesus.
Let the East wind paralyze and disgrace all my spiritual Pharaohs and Egyptians, in the name of Jesus.
Do something in my life in this prayer session that will change my life for good, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, give unto me the divine mantle to cross my problem-Jordan.
I will not dance to any unprofitable music this year, in Jesus’ name.
My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory, in the name of Jesus.
I shall not die but live to declare the works of God, in Jesus’ name.
My shoes shall be as iron to trample upon serpents and scorpions this year, in the name of Jesus.
I claim explosive miracles for every department of my life this year, in the name of Jesus.
Let my life experience revival fire this year, in the name of Jesus.
Begin to thank God for everything.
