50 MFM Prayer Points Against Arrows of Forgetfulness:

Biblical Exhortation:

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,¹ I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14, NKJV)²

Let this Scripture encourage you today. We are called to move forward in our walk with God, not to be held back by the past or hindered by anything that seeks to steal our focus on Him and His promises. Just as Paul pressed on, forgetting what was behind, we too must resist any “arrows of forgetfulness” that the enemy might shoot our way, seeking to make us doubt God’s faithfulness or lose sight of His will for our lives. Let us actively choose to remember God’s goodness and hold fast to His Word.

Confession:

Heavenly Father, I come before You today acknowledging that I am prone to forget Your goodness, Your promises, and Your mighty acts in my life. I confess that at times, the cares of this world and the attacks of the enemy have caused me to lose focus and doubt Your unfailing love. Forgive me for the times I have allowed forgetfulness to take root in my heart and mind. I declare today that I will actively remember Your faithfulness, Your Word, and Your power. I choose to meditate on Your truth and to hold it firmly in my heart. I break every stronghold of forgetfulness in my life, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
