Breaking the Chains of Poverty

In Christ, you have the authority to break every chain of ancestral curses, including poverty. The enemy often uses generational curses to hinder God’s children from fulfilling their destinies. But the blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). The death and resurrection of Christ have given you victory over every curse. Poverty is not your portion as a child of God, for His word says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2).

Engage in these prayers with aggression and faith. Do not relent; take hold of God’s promises, for the battle is already won in Jesus’ name!

Confession

I confess today that Jesus Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me (Galatians 3:13). I am a new creature in Christ Jesus, and old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). The blood of Jesus has set me free from every ancestral curse, including poverty. Therefore, I reject and renounce any covenant or agreement with poverty made by my ancestors in Jesus’ name. I declare that I shall walk in the prosperity and abundance that God has ordained for me, for His word says, “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). Amen.
