Exhortation: “By His Stripes, I Am Healed”

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 53:5 (KJV), “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”

This verse is a powerful reminder of the immense sacrifice that Jesus made for us. His stripes—His suffering and death—were not only for the forgiveness of our sins but also for our healing, both physical and spiritual. The stripes Jesus bore on the cross are not just a symbol of suffering, but a gateway to the healing power that we can claim as believers.

Healing is not a distant promise; it is a reality available to us because of the finished work of Christ on the cross. As we meditate on this, let us acknowledge that by His stripes, we are not only forgiven, but also healed from all sickness, disease, and infirmity.

Healing is part of our inheritance in Christ. We must stand firm in faith, reject the lies of the enemy, and claim the healing that has been provided for us through His sacrifice. Healing is our portion, and it is ours to receive in full.

Let us then approach God with confidence, knowing that He desires to heal us—body, mind, and soul.

Confession: By His Stripes, I Am Healed

Father, I thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore the stripes on His back for my healing. I declare today that by His stripes, I am healed. I stand on the authority of Your Word and refuse to accept sickness, disease, or pain in my body. I claim healing in every area of my life, for my physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual restoration. I speak life and health to my body, for You have made me whole. In Jesus’ name, I declare that I am healed and made whole. Amen.
