DEFEATING DEFEAT

Judges 6

It is a fact that satan has power to defeat powerless, Christless people. But God has all powers to defeat that power which satan uses to defeat others. It is this supreme power that is being introduced to you, to use against him (satan).

Colossians 2:16: “And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

We defeat defeat when we tap the greatest power that has ever been recorded in human history. On the Cross which the devil had planned to use to defeat Jesus, satan suffered the greatest defeat. The Bible says, Jesus “spoiled principalities and powers.” This means that Jesus stripped the devil and his agents of their powers to condemn and kill the human race.

The law was:

blotted out

taken out of the way

nailed to the cross

And it could no longer hold man in sin and bondage. The devil has lost the right and power to defeat believers by accusing them with the law.

Jesus said in John 16:13, “These things have I spoken to you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” This simply means that surely there will be tribulation and the devil will try to defeat us. But we don’t have to despair. All we need to do is to tap the victory that Christ won for us on the cross. As you use these prayer points, every defeat in your life will be defeated.

• CONFESSIONS

Ps. 118:l0-17: All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name

PRAISE WORSHIP

Any power sponsoring demotion and embarrassment against me, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.

Let every evil construction against me crumble, in Jesus’ name.

Every partner in destruction targeted against me, be scattered unto desolation, in the name of Jesus.

Every satanic partnership against me, be dismantled, in the name of Jesus.

Any power consulting the sun and the moon against me, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

Anything in my life opening the door to the enemy, go

back to your sender, in the name of Jesus.

I command all my enemies. to surrender to me in shame, in the name of Jesus.

I arrest every spiritual transaction with the dead, in Jesus’ name.

I speak rottenness unto every evil tree planted against me, in the name of Jesus.

Angels of the living God, ransack the land of the living and the dead and recover my stolen blessings, in the name of Jesus.

Any good thing in my life placed on any evil altar, be withdrawn, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, plant me by Your traffic light, to know when to wait, get ready and get going.

Let every witchcraft bird flying for my sake receive the arrow of fire, in the name of Jesus.

Every spirit of the grave assigned against my life, fail down and die, in the name of Jesus.

Let every household fetish fashioned against me be

frustrated, in the name of Jesus.

Every agent of nakedness and poverty, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

At the name of Jesus, every satanic knee standing in any area of my life, bow.

O Lord, amaze me by signs and wonders.

I bury every stubborn doubt today, in the name of Jesus.

I lock the jaw of every satanic lion roaring at me, in Jesus’ name.

I refuse to supply my enemies with ammunition, in Jesus’ name.

I cut off the head of my Goliath with the sword of the Lord, in the name of Jesus.

I paralyse my personal Philistine, in the name of Jesus.

I terminate every ‘terminator’, in the name of Jesus.

Satanic carpenters, enter your coffin, in the name of Jesus.

Every satanic opposition to my breakthroughs, be

paralysed, in the name of Jesus.

Let every seed of poverty in the foundation of my life fall down and die now, in the name of Jesus.

Let any symbol representing me in the dark world be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

I cut myself free from the hands of serpents and scorpions, in the name of Jesus.

Let every evil kingdom reigning against me be torn to pieces, in the name of Jesus.

Every labour of the enemy on my life, receive double failure, in the name of Jesus.

Every war waged against my staff of bread, receive double disgrace, in the name of Jesus.

Satanic hunters of my career, receive double frustration, in the name of Jesus.

Any power hiding my key of elevation, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
