Battering rams constitute an integral part of violent weapons of spiritual warfare. In Bible days what was called Battering rams was a military engine. It was a long beam with a head of brass like the head and horns of a ram. Hence, it was named battering rams. The instrument was pushed back and forth by hefty men. Then, suddenly they will let it hit the wall with great force to batter it and bring it down. This beloved, is a very terrible weapon. The purpose of the weapon of the battering rams is to bring down the kingdom of darkness with military force. The weapon is described below. Ezek. 4:2

“And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.”

A BULLDOZING WEAPON

The battering rams are a bulldozing weapon. It is a weapon that empowers you to carry the battle to the gates of the enemy. When this weapon collides with the walls of the kingdom of darkness the tottering walls will collapse like a pack of cards. Ezek. 21:22

“At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.”

The moment you demolish the gates of darkness your offensive strategy will

give you unchallengeable victory.

AN OFFENSIVE WEAPON

The weapon of battering rams can be used to bore holes in the walls of witchcraft covens. It will pull down demonic Jericho walls and make you more than a conqueror. When you set battering rams round about the territory of the enemy you are on the offensive rather than on the defensive.
