WEAPONS 56 – FAMINE
THIS IS A STRANGE WEAPON TO USE WHEN YOU FACE STRANGE BATTLES.
USE THIS WEAPON WHEN YOU WANT GOD TO SENTENCE POWERS THAT ARE ASSIGNED AGAINST YOU TO GET BUSY WITH ACTIVITIES THAT WILL PROMOTE YOUR DESTINY.
IT IS A WEAPON OF VENGEANCE
IT IS A WEAPON YOU CAN USE WHEN YOU WANT YOUR BURIED VIRTUES TO BE EXHUMED.
THIS WEAPON WILL LEAD YOU TO THE MOUNTAIN OF TESTIMONIES.
The quiver of the Lord is filled with all manner of poisonous arrows. When these arrows are shot, the enemy will regret ever confronting you as a child of God. One of the weapons which God uses to fight is the weapon of famine. When famine hits the enemy’s camp, agents of darkness will find it difficult to carry out their operations. God can attack the evil company that is working night and day to perpetuate your bondage.
If some agents of darkness are busy attacking you, the weapon of famine will scatter them unto desolation. You can ask God to send the gift of famine to the camp of your enemies. You can specifically ask for a type of famine that is deadly and tragic.
THE WEAPON
A season of famine will not only spell disaster in the camp of the enemy, it will also subject them to total burial. Boastful enemies can be silenced through the use of the weapon of famine. This weapon is described in the scriptures as the evil arrows of famine. The agenda of this famine is destruction. Ezekiel 5:16
“When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:”
The arrow of famine is one of the tough weapons that can be found in the armory of heaven. The powers that are attacking you will certainly lose focus when they are invaded by the arrow of famine. When God dishes out prolonged famine to the camp of wicked powers they will be thrown into panic and confusion.
“Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites. And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Glbeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.) Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?
A STRATEGIC WEAPON
Such a weapon is often used by God to put a halt to the evil activities of the enemy. It is unfortunate, however, that children of God are the victims. A lot of believers are busy grappling with famine, whereas the power of commanding famine to hit the camp of the enemy lies in our hands. There are times when children of darkness are busy molesting God’s children. Whereas, if believers have prayed famine into the territory of such agents, the famine would have brought them into such a state of confusion that they will not be able to lift up a finger.
Beloved, the weapon of famine is a strategic weapon. Our inability to use this weapon accounts for the proliferation of attacks against the people of God. This secret weapon will shut the mouth of angry lions. When the lion becomes so hungry, it will no longer be able to walk or roar. The use of this weapon will give you uncommon testimonies, take you to the highest realm of victory and make you an overcomer.
These end times call for the use of the weapon of famine. Do not wait until you are attacked by the enemy. Attack your attackers and you will defeat the powers that are busy mocking your God. This is a weapon you need to use before it is too ) late. I challenge you to pray like a wounded lion.
