Battles are inevitable. As long as there are opposing forces, we all continue to fight battles in various departments of life. Beloved, victory is not cheap. But, the victory that comes after conquest is sweet. Perhaps, you have discovered that you have lots of battles to fight, I put it to you, beloved, that it is simply because you have a colourful destiny like Joseph in the scriptures. Joseph was destined for high places. Hence, the journey of his life was punctuated by repeated battles. Since God had earmarked him for the highest point on the ladder of progress, he faced uncommon battles. If you have discovered that your battles are fierce, tough and persistent, you can decide to deal squarely with the enemy by converting your battles to God’s battles. 1Sam 17:47
“And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the bottle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.” 2Cranicles 20:15
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
God’s manner of fighting battles differs from the way you will personally fight your own battles. When your battle becomes God’s battles, one of the weapons God uses is the weapon of vengeance. God releases the weapon of vengeance when He has surveyed the entire spectrum of the wickedness of the kingdom of
darkness and he has decided, fully, to unleash His vengeance, fire for fire, upon them. When the weapon of divine vengeance is used, stubborn enemies will never live to tell the story. Isaiah 35:4
“Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.”
Even if you find yourself bound and tied in the enemy’s cage you can invoke the weapon of God’s vengeance. God will come with vengeance and a powerful recompense upon the enemy in order to rescue or save you.
The vengeance of God is the weapon to use when you are tired of being a captive of the terrible. It is an appropriate weapon for sending evil arrows back to sender. It is the most powerful weapon to use when you want to pursue, overtake and recover all. It is a powerful weapon to use when eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood are feasting on your destiny. It is the weapon to use when you want the enemy to vomit your swallowed blessings. It is a useful weapon when you are bent on giving enemies a raw deal which will subsequently force them to taste the same poison which they once offered you in order to steal your destiny. When the weapon of the vengeance of God is fully invoked upon satanic agents, you will simply stand still and witness the destruction of destructive powers. The vengeance of God is a terrific weapon. Once the weapon is activated, the devastation it will cause will be monumental. Whatever the enemy has done against your life and destiny, you can bring in the day of the Lord’s vengeance. Isaiah 34:8
“For it is the day of the LORD’S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.”
With the day of the Lord’s vengeance, the enemy’s days are numbered. When God starts with His vengeance you will begin to witness what it means to see God in action.

- Let the vengeance of the lord arise and defend my interest, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers opposing my enlargement, receive the vengeance of the Lord, in the name of Jesus.
- Oh heaven arise with the vengeance of the lord and contend with those who contend against me, in the name of Jesus.
- Power of the lord, flow into every area of my life and let the vengeance of the Lord fight for me, in the name of Jesus.
- Every opposition to my elevation, receive the vengeance of the lord, in the name of Jesus.
