Wormwood can be classified as one of the violent weapons that can be found in the armoury of God. God has created the weapon in order to put paid to the ugly uprisings coming from the kingdom of darkness. When you listen to stories of terrible ordeals which people are going through, you will understand why God has introduced a line of weapons that are very tough. To gain insight into the potency and uses of this weapon, it is necessary that we take a look into the depths of the connotations of the word wormwood. The word wormwood can only be compared in intensity with the word gall, it is extremely bitter, tough and harsh. Wormwood is an intensely bitter and poisonous plant Consequently, it is a symbol for whatever is nauseating and destructive. When a weapon is described as having the qualities of wormwood, it shows that it has bitter properties and grave consequences. Lamentations 3:15

“He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.”

The Bible speaks of a root that bears gall and wormwood. Deut 29:18

“Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;”

When this root is released into the enemy’s camp, all the power that have

ganged up against your life, progress and destiny will be forced to drink acidic, bitter, and deadly wormwood. Jer9:15

“Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people,’ with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.”

This weapon is useful when you have a raw deal from the hands of household wickedness and you want to fight back. You need this weapon when you want to turn things upside down in the enemy’s camp. You need this weapon when you want to weaken the forces that are giving you a tough fight. You need this weapon when you want to inflict on the enemy, one devastating blow that will remain unforgettable. It is an appropriate weapon to use when you have had enough of bitter experiences and you want to silence the voice of oppression and put an end to shame and ignominy. The instrument can be used when you want to turn the tide and force eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood to eat their own flesh and drink their own blood. You can use this weapon when you want to sentence hidden wicked enemies to a biter end. Proverb 5:4

But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

Unleashing the weapon of wormwood on the enemy can be likened to giving witches and wizards poison to drink. It is a weapon you can use when you want to give enemies of your destiny a large dose of the fierce wrath of the Almighty. • Let the commandment of the Lord go forth and deliver me from every plantation of the enemy using the weapon of the wormwood, in the name of Jesus.

• Wormwood of the most high God invade every house of the strongman and pursue them ·out of their hiding places, in the name of Jesus.

• I invoke the power of the wormwood of God to reposes and to reposition everything the enemy has stolen, in the name of Jesus.

• Let the wormwood from heaven go forth in the thunder of thy power to send confusion into the camp of my enemies, in the name of Jesus.
